Tell us about yourself: I am a graduate of Bellevue University with a master’s degree in Criminal Justice Crime Management. I began my insurance career as a Producer selling Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance in 2022. On June 08, 2022, I started my career as a Market Conduct Examiner with the Nebraska Department of Insurance. Since being with the Department, I have obtained my MCM, APIR, PIR, AIE, and FLMI designations. I was awarded the Jim Long/ Al Gross Rookie of the year scholarship on March 22, 2023. I am actively working towards my CIE and CPCU designations.
How long have you been a member of IRES? Almost 3 years.
What made you get involved as a State Chair? To continue serving Nebraskans through regulation and education while providing oversight of the insurance industry so we can best serve the public.
Do you have any advice for new IRES members to make the most out of their membership? Take the educational opportunities available to expand your knowledge of the insurance industry. There are also several groups you can get involved in that contribute to sharing knowledge across the country. It’s a fun way to be a part of the insurance industry and network with others across the country.
