IRES Foundation - Winter 2026
The 32nd annual IRES Foundation National School on Market Regulation, taking place in Charlotte, NC, from April 12-14, will gather insurance regulators and industry experts at The Ballantyne Hotel and Spa to discuss topics such as claims compliance, data calls, market conduct best practices, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), AI and a variety of other issues impacting regulators and industry alike.

Tell us about yourself.
I started in Complaints in 1998 and then added intake for Rate & Form Filings. At the time, we didn’t have an interpreter line or anyone who could assist consumers in Spanish, but we had calls from Spanish speakers. Seeing a need, I requested approval to take Spanish classes and progressed to taking Spanish calls, handling Spanish complaints, and translating complaints and some publications.
